What is The Fun Factor?

The fun factor – to me, it’s the essense of life.  And when I travel, I have fun!

I enjoy all aspects of travel, which should be apparent in my writing and throughout this blog.

But you don’t have to spend too much time in an airport or in a foreign country to see people who aren’t having too much fun.  They are missing the fun factor.  And while it’s true that events occur which have the potential of being fun destructors, it is up to the traveler to decide.  Some of the most remarkable, memorable and wonderful things occur because of something that “went wrong,” so was it really “wrong?”

And some of the funniest stories are told because things didn’t quite work out as planned, even though they may have seemed distastrous at the time.

The thing is to always keep a perspective that lets you have fun.

So I decided that my travel blog and website was never going to lose sight of the fun factor.  And nor will I when I travel!
