Travel Gear

While I am not much of a consumer, travel can definitely be made easier with the right travel gear.

For my trip to Southeast Asia, my biggest concern was potable water. I purchased both the Steripen Adventurer and the MSR TrailShot Pocket-Sized Water Filter for Hiking, Camping, Travel, and Emergency Preparedness

Of the two, the MSR TrailShot Pocket-Sized Water Filter for Hiking, Camping, Travel, and Emergency Preparedness is my favorite. While I really liked the Steripen for ease, it’s limiting factor is that the mouth of the container has to be big enough to accommodate it.

I highly recommend the MSR TrailShot Pocket-Sized Water Filter for Hiking, Camping, Travel, and Emergency Preparedness. It was easy to use every time with no limiting features or factors, and it is light, easy to carry, and effective. I have had no bad water experiences!

I also purchased the Bobble PLUS, reusable water bottle, filtration water bottle, infuse water bottle, carbon filter water bottle, BPA-Free water bottle, dishwasher safe, Tritan bottle, 20 fl oz. / 590 mL, Surf which I loved – until the fateful day that I was in a hurry and poured boiling water into and watched it shrivel and die! So no hot water!!!
