5 Winter Travel Gifts to Keep You Warm

Packing for winter travel can be challenging, particularly as I like to travel light.  But more than that, I hate being cold! And of course, these items would make great Christmas presents.

My first recommendation is the Napa Travel Blanket, which I received as a gift.  My first thought was, oh no something extra to pack and carry.  But it quickly became the best thing I carried.  I used it on the plane as a blanket or pillow, on the bed in the hotel room as an extra blanket and when I was in an apartment, as a throw blanket on the couch or sitting out on the balcony at night to enjoy the stars.

The other products below come from reading other blogs and emails that I receive and picking the ones that I would buy to keep warm in the winter, whether I am at home or travelling. I definitely like products that I can use and that don’t take up much space.

A warm but light coat is the first and most important item for cold weather. It can be scrunched into a suitcase or shoulder bag and can be used as a pillow in a plane, train or automobile.

Next in importance for me is warm feet. Good boots and socks are first but to add a little bit of extra warmth, try these   Grabber Foot Warmer Insole, Medium/Large

Then, keeping your hands warm is always good, too: GLOUE ScreenTouch Gloves

And to complete the ensemble, a good hat to keep your head warm, since most of your body heat escapes from your head. And the hat doesn’t need to be bulky, either: Savior Ritzy Heated Hat

What great ideas. Beautiful gifts. We’re still warm but with smokey skies and air from SoCal fires.
Call when you get back to SF…I still have your bottle of champagne. Right now pressing, photographing and listing Maria’s “runway” and special party clothes to sell on Tradesy…even that bridesmaide’s dress, which she says to list as a ballgown! Construction supposed to start yesterday but no one has shown up to work. So I’m still working at home…more later, thanks for these wonderful blogposts…so good to know where you are, when, and what you’re doing…luv, Roberta
