Vernazza, here I come!!

Today I created a new tshirt, using a photo of Vernazza that I took a couple of years ago.

Why Vernazza?  I fell in love with Vernazza, Cinque Terre before I even visited, after reading an article.  For many years, I would send people there, and finally in 2008 I visited Cinque Terre.  And I have been going back at least once a year since, and staying as long as I could each time.

I will there again in October, so I will be writing and posting more current photos then, in between hiking, swimming, eating the local anchovies and other specialties and generally just hanging out with the locals.

And of course, every day I will be on the pier, watching the spectacular sunset.  This is a ritual in Vernazza and particularly timely in October as it sets during “happy hour!”
