From my beach to a 5 star – for 1 night!

Right now, I am living  my dream – staying in an apartment across the street from the beach, with a terrace overlooking the beach and sea in Croatia.

And as unbeatable as that is, tomorrow I will be staying in a 5 star hotel while I attend a Hotel and Tourism conference, called the HOW festival, the Hotel Operations Weekend.

While there are several sessions that greatly impact an experience in a hotel as a tourist, the sessions which interest me the most are about wellness programs (my particular interest), wi-fi (I need it to be able to work and travel) and how reception can bring tourists closer to the local way of life and experience i.e. the authentic experience – which is what I am all about.

And as fascinating as all this promises to be, I am definitely going to get there early so I can check out all the amenities at Falkensteiner Hotel and Spa Iadera.
