Classic Rome Sites

Some tourist sites are touristy for a reason.  How can any visitor be in Rome and not detour to walk past sites such as the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, the Vatican and the Colosseo.

I don’t know how many times that I have seen each, but they are different each time. The light is always different depending both on the time of day, the time of year and the weather.  Being open to seeing them as if always the first time is the key to noticing them in new and different ways makes each time special, unique and memorable.

This trip, I passed by the Trevi both in evening and during an overcast day.  It was the evening lights that captivated me most, inspiring me to turn one of these into a Rome t-shirt.
