5 Last Minute Travel Gifts and Stocking Stuffers
Here are five items that would make great stocking stuffers travel gifts for the travelers on your list – or for yourself. All are available on Amazon and able to be delivered before Christmas, obviously depending on when you order it. (Please confirm when ordering!)
Any item that improves organization is a great travel gift. For me, the most troublesome thing during my recent 3 months of travel was dealing with all my cords and bits and pieces for my phone, my computer, my camera and my power pack. I look at this Electronics organizer and wish that I had had it before now! At only 4 ounces, it meet my requirement of adding almost no weight while it organizes cords, memory cards, power bank, usb sticks, dongles, batteries, etc. I love zippers and with this simple zip-open, lie flat design, it lets you easily access everything and save space and time. With dimensions of 10' x 7.9"x 1", it meets another requirement of not taking up much space.
I like this water-resistant backpack with a USB port because unlike some others, it fits a 17″ laptop in a dedicated compartment. And its built-in USB charger outside and built-in charging cable inside offers easy access to charge your phone. Since my phone seems to need charging all the time, this is a huge convenience. It is 20 x 12.2 x 5.7 inch which is a nice size, and has safety features that are also attractive for business and weekend travel, or for the carry-on for any trip.
For plane travel, compression socks are good to wear not just to prevent blood clots, but also to help with sleep, and prevent swelling in the feet, making those shoes easier to put back on after a long flight.
Another challenge when traveling can be what to pack for different climates. A down jacket covers most cool or cold weather needs, and is great to use on a flights as a pillow. It is also very nice looking and flattering.
The Scratch World Map would be a fun gift for anyone – for someone who has traveled a lot and can scratch a lot immediately (how fun would that be!) or to serve as inspiration for the young adult who is just beginning their travels.
